iwamura kazuo is a japanese children's book writer/illustrator. his museum is about 2.5hrs outside central tokyo. we visited with my mom's friend who is the mandarin translator of a series of his books. mr.kazuo even stopped by to read a book for us- one hell of a story time. he is an amazing artist and a very very kind man.
