we've got macarons; let 'em eat cake. 

time to get crafty and build a macaron tower.

palmiers

toothpicks

6-inch-diameter styrofoam cone

soft wrapping paper 

double-sided tape

ribbon

tip#1 always prepare more macarons, just incase you can't resist the cuties as you work away (nomnomnom)
tip#2 trim the toothpicks with scissors for sharper ends to poke through the styrofoam/macarons easier

1. wrap the cone with a piece of soft, thin wrapping paper. use double-sided tape to glue.
2. decorate the bottom with a piece of ribbon
3. trim and secure toothpicks onto the cone
4. attach macarons on the toothpicks
5. add plamiers for extra flair
