so... this past weekend, i did something that i haven't had the courage to do since i got my license. i drove my first roadtrippp! well, i drove there and my copilot, nicole, drove us back home. but you know, baby steps. we decided on saturday that we wanted to take a day trip to portland and voila, we hit the road on sunday morning. it took us just a bit under 12 hours for the roundtrip ;)
due to the rain, we didn't do much except hang out at powell's "city of books". still, it was so much fun just to walk/drive around with our stumptown coffees.
